this scarf is super easy to make! (if you know how to crochet, that is.)
i made it for little miss z...and the first time she wore it to school one of her friends said it looked like popcorn. so that's how we got the name.
here's what you'll need:
1 1/2 skeins of patons pooch yarn
size P crochet hook
finished measurements: 3.5 inches x 54 inches
Popcorn Scarf
*chain 2 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet.
chain 7
row 1: double crochet (dc) in second chain from hook. dc in remaining stitches. chain 2, turn.
row 2: dc in each stitch across. chain 2, turn.
rows 3-41 : repeat row 2.
fasten off, and weave in ends.
note: i bought my yarn a long while ago, i think at michael's craft store. i'm not sure if they still sell it. i just googled it and found the yarn here and here.

Right..that's it...no more visits to your blog...I feel a new addiction coming on...lol! Now I just HAVE to go and buy some more wool to make this scarf. And it's not even Winter here! Love it :)
thanks for the comment balletmama. crochet can be addicting. how is your non granny square blanket coming along?
i've tried commenting over on your blog, but have not had any luck. for some reason i'm only able to comment in pop-up and full page comments. others are having problems as well, and blogger is supposed to be working on the problem.
